more than anyone else could ever know
but now you’re leaving
And I guess you wouldn’t let it show
When you held me in your arms
my heart pounded and beat so fast
I would have killed
Just to make that feeling last

you need some love

all alone
your memory fades
you turn to stone

Except for me
across a state line or two
everyone’s forgotten
about you

How you’re like us
you need some love
not to be recycled
like the hand does the glove

You feel stuck
How can you get out
Trying to leave
You find your in love
Hiding the bruises
Avoiding the questions
Until one day when
It was too much
No apoligy can take
Back what has been done
It’s all over…
